Whitechapel Market Collage

work in progress....still

This is another attempt to visualise the market in a deconstructed way, by layering and blocking out bits of photographs, using transparent inks. Using a colour and lots of layers shall represent the business and vibrancy of the market.
I took rubbings of some found wood from the market stalls, using other objects' textures and random shapes to create an organic feel to it.
the composition appears while printing and each print is different. I like the process of surprise.

RGB filter film - Whitechapel market

movement visualization through rgb layered filters.
you'll see my friend sarah standing still in the middle of Whitechapel market, and the crowds maneuvering around her appearing in different colours.

Colour Book for Whitechapel Market

these photographs happened accidently, because of a broken lense on my olympus camera.
however i think they look beautiful and capture the colourscheme of the market perfectly.
i'm considering to screenprint a few in cmyk. or bind them all together in a book...
